Siddha Mahavir Mandir Puri is famous for presiding deity Bhagwan Mahavir (Hanuman). This Mandir is located nearer to Gundicha Mandir about a distance of one kilometer.
Puri is well known for Bhagwan Shri Jagannath Mandir, Sea beach and Konark temple in world wide. Apart From these places Puri is also famous for many small temples from religious point of view which includes Siddha Mahavir Mandir.
Eight Mahavirs are worshiped in Puri town and shrine of Siddha-Mahavir is one among them. Many people of Puri are high of following Bhagwan Jagannath and Bhagwan Mahavir.
According to local people Tulasi Das, the famous author of Rama Charit Manas, visited and stayed here for sometime when he visited Puri.
Presiding deity Bhagwan Siddha Mahavir Famous for the Murtil of a five-faced Hanuman. Various postures of Bhagwan Hanuman like Bali, Sugriv, Jamb Ban, Suesena, and Angada carved in this Mandir.
