Sivasagar Shivdol is one of the most famous Shiva temples in Assam, located in the town of Sivasagar. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, it is considered one of the holiest Shiva temples in Northeast India. Situated on the southern bank of the historic Sivasagar (Borpukhuri) tank, the temple complex comprises three temples dedicated to Lord Shiva (Shivdol), Lord Vishnu (Vishnudol), and Goddess Durga (Devidol).

Sivasagar Shivdol is located on the banks of the beautiful Sivasagar Tank in Sivasagar, Assam. Sivasagar is well-connected via NH-37 and the surrounding road network of Upper Assam. Simaluguri Junction is the nearest major railway station, situated approximately 14–16 km from the town. Sivasagar Town Railway Station is much closer to the city center—within 1 to 5 km of the temple—and serves local as well as select express trains. Jorhat Airport is the nearest airport.
