Ganesh Mandir dedicated to Lord Shri Ganesh founded by V.Sankar Aiyar in 31 Oct 1952 (Renovated - 22 Apr 1999), group of two temples Shiv Evam Shani Mandir along with Shri Ganesh Mandir, both temple share same wall and also interconnected. Boundaries of temples are not well define due to the closeness of both bhawan. Most of the time, when new devotees visit these temples unable to distinguish both the temple. These temples are near by famous Hanuman Temple in Connaught Place.
History and Architecture of Ganesh Mandir CP
Shri Ganesh Mandir founded by V. Sankar Aiyar on 31 October 1952, the temple was renovated in April 1999. It also shares the site with a Shiv and Shani Mandir, forming a cluster of sacred shrines .
Beyond Lord Ganesh, the temple houses shrines to several deities—Shiva, Shani, and a Navgraha (nine planets) shrine. It also accommodates worship of Durga, Hanuman, Harihara, and other Vedic deities. The ambiance is enriched by priests of South Indian origin. This temple is the first South Indian temple in Delhi. Architect-wise, it's a typically South Indian style beautiful temple with the positive vines all over the area, which makes you feel calm and relaxed with chants of Vedic mantra.
Ganesh Mandir CP Darshan Timing:
Temple is open for the whole week and the darshan timing is 5:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and again from 4:00 PM to 9:30 PM.

Ganesh Chaturthi is prime festival of Ganesh Mandir CP. It’s worth visiting during Ganesh Chaturthi, when celebrations and decorations are at their festive best. Shivratri and Navratri are also celebrated with great pomp.

The mandir is easily accessible via Delhi Metro—Rajiv Chowk or Shivaji Stadium stations are the closest, making it convenient to incorporate into a city sightseeing itinerary.
