Mahavir Mandir Patna, also known as Manokamna Hanuman Mandir, is located in Patna near Patna Junction. Mahavir Temple Patna is one of the oldest and prominent temples of the country. This temple is dedicated to Bhagwan Hanuman. Every day thousands of devotees come here to pray and seek blessings of Bhagwan Hanuman. It is also called Manokamna Mandir because it is said that every wish of the devotees is fulfilled.

About Manokamna Hanuman Temple
Two idols of Hanumanji stand together in the sanctum sanctorum of Mahavir Temple, Patna. There is a belief about this temple that the wishes made here are definitely fulfilled. That is why this temple has been named Manokamna Temple. But the way to fulfill one's wish from Hanuman ji located in this temple is unique.

At Manokamna Mandir, people bring pens or pencils from home to fulfill their wishes. They buy Prasad from the laddu shop outside the temple and offer it to Hanuman ji. After this they circumambulate the temple and do Pradakshina. After performing the puja, they write their wishes with pen or pencil on the walls of the temple.

The first floor of Mahavir Temple Patna has four sanctums of the deities. The first scene is of Bhagwan Ram, the second scene is of Bhagwan Krishna preaching to Arjuna. Devi Durga is situated next to Bhagwan Krishna. And finally, Bhagwan Shiva meditated with his consort Devi Parvati and Nandi. The sacred floating Ram Setu rock is also placed on the ground. This Ram Setu Shila is kept in a glass container. Its weight is approximately 15 kg while its volume is approximately 13,000 mm.

Darshan in Mahavir Temple Patna is daily from 5 am to 10:30 pm. The best time to visit the temple is during the day time only. It takes about 1 hour to have darshan.
