Shri Mahalakshmi Temple - श्री महालक्ष्मी मंदिर

There are three forms of Goddess in Shri Mahalakshmi Temple Mahasaraswati Vidya Devi, Mata Lakshmi of prosperity, and to discharge from time and death Mahalakshmi and Goddess Mahakali have been established.

The summit of the Mahalakshmi temple is 55 feet high, 24 feet wide and the terrace is 54 feet long. The temple is built in a Dravidian style with very fine carvings.

The glorification of all the three Goddesses established in the temple has been painted with six feet high ancient marble. The entire structure of the temple was done under the guidance of expert sculptors from the Jaipur Art Center. Out of which craftsman named Hemraj Sompura of Sumerour was very famous. The completion of the temple took 12 years and this sacred work was done on 15th February 1984 with the glory of Swami Shree Ghanshyamji Acharya and is finished with the worship of three Goddesses.

The pictures of twelve saints have been placed on the walls around the temple, which respectively are Saint Daaneshwar, Saint Tukaram, Saint Tulsidas, Saint Jalaram, Saint Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Saint Kabir Das, Saint Surdas, Shri Ramdas Swami, Saint Guru Nanak, Saint Ramkrishna Paramahansa, Saint Basaveshwara, and Meerabai. So that the devotees can get the knowledge of the lessons given by these great Gurus as well as the blessings of the Goddess.

The entire credit of the construction of the temple goes to the late Shri Bansilal Ramnath Agarwal and Mata Shushila Devi Bansi Lal Agarwal, this is a live example of their relentless and efforts.

During the Mogra Festival, main deities are decorated with millions of mogra flowers.
