Rukmani Mandir - रुक्मणी मंदिर, द्वारका

Shri Rukmani Devi Mandir is dedicated to Lord Krishna`s chief wife Devi Rukmani, She is considered to be the incarnation of Godess Lakshmi. The temple is situated on the outer side of Dwarka, about 2 kilometer away. The walls of the temple are carved with elephants, horses, dev and human idols.

The most popular and celebrated festival of the temple is Nirjala Ekadashi, also known as Rukmini Haran Ekadashi. Donation of drinking water in the Goddess Temple is considered as highly blessing activity. The present temple is believed to be the established on the 12th century.
