❀ This Mandir is associated with events from the Ramayana. It is believed to be the site where Lord Hanuman defeated the demon Kalanemi while bringing the Sanjivani herb for Lord Rama and Lakshmana. Near this site is a sacred pond called Makari Kund, where Hanuman is said to have bathed after the battle.
