Major Festivals at Thawe Temple
Navaratri is the most significant religious festival at the Thawe Temple, drawing some of the largest crowds of the year. Devotees from various districts and neighboring states arrive here to seek the blessings of Maa Thawe-wali. They offer prayers to the Mata—typically between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM, and again at 7:00 PM—presenting offerings such as laddus, pedas, coconuts, and chunris (sacred veils). Mondays and Fridays are considered particularly auspicious for worshipping the Mata and seeking her favor.
This is a prominent center for the worship of the Divine Feminine (Shakti) in the region, attracting devotees from Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, and other parts of India.
