Mahatara Jayanti is not very popular festival among general people in India, this festival is mainly famous among the seekers. On this Jayanti, the Devi is pleased by worshiping Vidhi with the use of Tantra Mantra. According to the scriptures, Mata Tara ji has only one form out of the ten Mahavidyas.

Mata Tara Devi destroys all the troubles of human life. Worship of this Devi is also called Aghori Sadhna. Worshiping Tara Devi ji with full rituals brings wealth and brings happiness and peace in life. Tara Devi is also known as Tarini Devi, Neela Saraswati, Ekjata and Ugra Tara. These forms are worshiped with the desire to destroy the enemies.

When is Mahatara Jayanti Celebrated?
According to the Hindu calendar, the festival of Mahatara Jayanti is celebrated on the ninth day of Shukla Paksha in the month of Chaitra. In 2022, Mahatara Jayanti will be celebrated on 10th April.

Origin of Mata Mahatara ji and reason for the name Tara Devi
Before the creation of the universe, no element was present in the world. There was darkness everywhere and maa Kali ji was present. When there was no power, at that time a ray of light was born in the universe which came to be known as Mahatara. The devi was named Tara Devi because of the origin of light.

How to Worship Mahatara
Worshiping Devi Tara and chanting mantras gives speech power, destruction of enemies and liberation. Devi's Mantra: Chanting“स्त्रीं हूं हृं हूं फट्” brings welfare to all. The chanting of this Panchakshari Mantra gives the devotee peace.

Significance of Mahatara Jayanti
Worship of Tara Devi is considered very important in Sanatan Dharma. This birth anniversary is organized on a large scale on this day at Shridham Maa Tripurasundari Temple located in Jhoteshwar Ashram in Gotegaon, India. Devotees of Mata Tara Devi gather here from far and wide for the worship of Devi.
