Langde Ki Chowki Prachin Hanuman Mandir is a revered ancient Hanuman temple located in the Civil Lines area of Agra, Uttar Pradesh. It is widely regarded as a Siddh Peeth, where devotees believe sincere prayers are fulfilled. The temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman in a south-facing (Dakshin Mukhi) form.
Langde Ki Chowki Prachin Hanuman Mandir
The ancient Hanuman temple at Langde Ki Chowki is believed to be centuries old, with roots going back to the Mughal period. It is believed to be around 600 years old.
According to popular legend, a lame (langda) guard once guarded a chowki (outpost) at this place. When he went to listen to Ram Katha, his duty was miraculously fulfilled in his absence—believed to be by Lord Hanuman Himself. Because of this divine incident, the place came to be known as “Langde Ki Chowki.”
The temple complex houses smaller temples like Lord Shivalinga Temple, Shri Ram Temple and Shri Ganesh Temple.

Temple is open for the whole week and the darshan timing is 5 AM to 9 PM. Everyday around 6:30 AM morning aarti and in evening around 6:30 PM evening aarti occurs.

Hanuman Jayanti and Ram Navami are the prime festivals at Langde Ki Chowki. Devotees especially visit on Tuesdays and Saturdays, which are considered highly auspicious for Hanuman worship.
