Adinath Ji, also known as Rishabhanatha, is the first Tirthankara of Jainism. He is regarded as the founder of Jain spiritual tradition in the present time cycle.

Adinath had 100 sons. His eldest son was Bharata, after whom India is believed to be named Bharat. Another famous son was Bahubali, known for his deep meditation and victory over ego.

He is believed to have taught humanity basic skills such as agriculture, cooking, arts, writing, and social organization. After ruling for many years, Adinath renounced his kingdom and became an ascetic. He attained Kevala Jnana (omniscience) and later achieved moksha.

Adinath Ji Established the fourfold Jain Sangha:
