Sri Ramanuja Acharya was a great Hindu philosopher and thinker. He is the most respected Acharya in the philosophy of Sri Vaishnavism. Some communities celebrate the birth anniversary on a different date, especially in Tamil Nadu. Ramanuja, also known as Ramanujacharya or Ilaiah Perumal, was a South Indian Brahmin theologian and philosopher, the single most influential thinker of devotional Hinduism.
