Bhagwan Anantanatha is the 14th Tirthankara in Jainism after 13th Tirthankara Bhagwan Vimalnath Ji, revered for his path of renunciation, discipline, and attainment of infinite knowledge (Keval Jnana).

He was born in the sacred city of Ayodhya. At the time of his birth, peace and prosperity prevailed everywhere. His name “Ananta” means infinite or boundless, symbolizing eternal bliss and limitless virtues.

Royal Life and Renunciation of Bhagwan Anantanatha
As a prince, he lived a life of comfort and later ruled the kingdom with justice and righteousness. However, realizing the temporary nature of worldly pleasures, he developed deep detachment (Vairagya) and chose the spiritual path.
