Pushtipati Vinayak Jayanti is a sacred festival dedicated to Bhagwan Ganesh, especially the Pushtipati Vinayak form of Bhagwan Ganesh. Like other Ganesh festivals, this festival is usually celebrated on Vaishakh Purnima. On the day of Pushtipati Vinayak Jayanti, a large number of devotees visit the Shri Pushtipati Ganesh Mandir (Odhav Nagar) for darshan.
Significance of Pushtipati Vinayak Jayanti
\"Pushtipati\" means \"one who bestows nourishment, growth, and prosperity.\" Devotees worship this form of Ganesh for good health and strength, family prosperity, and the removal of obstacles (vighna vinashaka). Bhaktibharat says this puja is considered extremely auspicious for resolving problems.
