The rope of the chariot has reached Puri Jagannath Dham for the world famous Rath Yatra. A total of 26 ropes have reached Puri Jagannath Temple office. The rope has been manufactured by Odisha Cooperative Cotton Corporation and 14 artisans prepared it together in a month.
There are 14 ropes for pulling all three chariots, while there are a total of 12 ropes, three each for outer, inner, general and police. To pull the chariot, the length of the rope to pull the chariot is 220 feet, thickness is 8 inches.
This year, Lord's Netra Utsav will be celebrated on 6th July. The world famous Rath Yatra will be taken out on July 7.* Please share any of your suggestions or ideas with us.
