The Maa Baglamukhi Temple, located in Nalkheda, Agar Malwa district, Madhya Pradesh, is a revered Hindu temple dedicated to Mata Baglamukhi, one of the ten Mahavidyas (Tantric goddesses). The temple is situated on the banks of the Lakhundar River (a tributary of the Narmada). Baglamukhi Devi is worshiped for protection, victory over enemies, removal of obstacles and success in legal or personal disputes.

❀ According to tradition, the temple traces its roots back to the Mahabharata era, where it is believed that Maharaja Yudhishthira established the shrine on instructions from Bhagwan Krishna during the Dwapara Yuga. The temple was later restored in 1815.
❀ The temple’s sanctum houses a triad: Baglamukhi in the centre, with devi Lakshmi and devi Saraswati on either side.
❀ It is considered one of three historic Baglamukhi Siddha Peeths in India — the others being in Datia (MP) and Kangra (Himachal Pradesh).
