BAPS Hindu Temple Abu Dhabi in UAE, is a traditional Hindu place of worship built by BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha. BAPS Hindu Temple is scheduled to be inaugurated by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 14 February 2024.

The history of BAPS Hindu Temple began during Pramukh Swami Maharaj's visit to the United Arab Emirates in 1997 when he envisioned a temple in Abu Dhabi that would \"bring together countries, cultures and religions.\" BAPS Hindu Temple Abu Dhabi is a 27-acre The site is located in Abu Muriqah, near Al Rahba on the Dubai-Abu Dhabi Sheikh Zayed Highway. The temple will be the first traditional Hindu temple in the Middle East.

❀ The temple is being constructed on more than 5.4 hectares of land and has been constructed at a cost of Rs 700 crore.
❀ The height of the temple is 32.92 meters (108 ft), length is 79.86 meters (262 ft) and width is 54.86 meters (180 ft).
❀ Other architectural features include: two ghumats (domes), seven spires (spires) – symbolizing the seven emirates in the UAE, 12 samarans and 402 pillars. It has marble carvings in the background of the sandstone building.
❀ The temple is made of more than 25,000 pieces of stone carved by skilled artisans in India.
❀ Within each shikara, there are carvings of stories from the Ramayana, Shiva Purana, Bhagavatam, Mahabharata, and carvings that depict the lives of Jagannath, Swaminarayan, Venkateswara and Ayyappa.
❀ The temple's design also incorporated eco-friendly features such as recycled wooden pallets to create benches, tables and chairs for the food court. There is a waterfall here which symbolizes the source of three sacred rivers – Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati.

BAPS Swaminarayan Temple has idols of Akshar-Purushottam, Radha-Krishna, Ram-Sita, Lakshman, Hanuman, Shiva-Parvati, Ganesha, Kartikeya, Padmavati-Venkateswara, Jagannath and Ayyappa.
Abu Dhabi Hindu Temple Inaugurated
BAPS Swaminarayan Temple will open to the public on 18 February 2024. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has accepted BAPS's invitation to attend the inauguration.
