Kali Bahan Mandir, also known as Kali Vahan Mandir, is a revered Siddh Peeth located on the banks of the Yamuna River in Etawah, Uttar Pradesh. Approximately 5 kilometers from the city center, this temple holds deep spiritual significance and is especially prominent during the Navratri festival. History and Architecture of Kali Bahan Mandir
The temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali, with idols of Mahakali, Mahalaxmi, and Mahasaraswati enshrined together. The temple's name, \"Kali Bahan,\" is derived from the legend that during the cosmic dance of Bhagwan Shiva with the body of Devi Sati, her left arm is believed to have fallen at this very spot. Consequently, the temple is regarded as a Siddh Peeth, a site of immense spiritual significance.
Chief Mahant Radheshyam Dwivedi says that this temple has its own importance. He has been serving this temple for about 42 years but till date he has not been able to find out what happens when the temple is cleaned in the dark of night. The sanctum sanctorum is opened in the early morning. At that time, fresh flowers are found inside the temple which proves that someone comes in invisible form and worships.
As per legends the Kali Vahan temple is from Mahabharata period in Etawah and here Ashwatthama comes first thing every morning to worship Devi Kali.

To maintain the sanctity and decorum of the temple, a dress code has been implemented. Visitors are requested to avoid wearing shorts, Bermuda shorts, mini skirts, nightwear, or torn jeans. This measure aims to uphold the temple's traditional values and ensure a respectful atmosphere for worship.
