The dramatic enactment of the Ramayana, the epic tale of Lord Rama, his trials, exile, the abduction of Sita, war with Ravana, and ultimate triumph of good over evil. Among the many places it is performed, two venues stand out for their history, scale, and cultural resonance: Red Fort (Lav-Kush / Dharmik / Nav Shri Dharmik) Ramlila and Ramlila Maidan. The Historical Roots of Delhi's Ramlila
