Bhagwan Hanuman ji, a dear devotee of Bhagwan Shri Ram, is known as the giver of Ashta Siddhi and Nau Nidhi. There is also a chaupai of Hanuman Chalisa "अष्ट सिद्धि नौ निधि के दाता अस बर दीन जानकी माता". That is, by the devotion of Hanuman ji, eight types of siddhis and nine types of nidhi’s are obtained in the life of a person. These chaupai’s have an important contribution in the life of every human being.
Let us know what are the Ashta Siddhis and the Nine Nidhis?
Maa Janaki gave vardan of eight siddhis and nine nidhis to Hanuman, a devotee of Bhagwan Ram, and it is said that only Mahabali Hanuman had the power to handle them. The most valuable things in the world are the nine Nidhis, which do not require any kind of money and property after getting it. Hanumanji had eight types of siddhis. Under his influence, he could take the form of any person. With the power of the mind, he could reach wherever he wanted in a moment.

What are the eight siddhis?
❀ Anima: On the strength of this siddhi, Hanumanji can assume a very subtle form at any time.
❀ Mahima: On the strength of this accomplishment, Hanuman has taken a huge form many times.
❀ Garima: With the help of this siddhi, Hanumanji can lift himself like a huge mountain.
❀ Laghima: With this siddhi, Hanumanji can completely lighten his weight and can roam anywhere in a moment.
❀ Siddhi: With the help of this siddhi, Hanumanji gets any object immediately. They understand the language of animals and birds, they can see the time to come.
❀ Prakamya: With the help of this siddhi, Hanumanji can go deep into the earth, go to Hades, fly in the sky and survive in water as long as he wants.
❀ Ishitva: With the help of this siddhi, Hanumanji has got divine powers.
Vashitva: With the effect of this siddhi, Hanumanji is Jitendriya and controls the mind.

What are Nine Nidhis?
❀ Padmanidhi: A person endowed with Padmanidhi qualities is sattvik and donates by collecting gold and silver etc.
❀ Mahapadma Nidhi: A person targeted by Mahapa Nidhi donates his collected money etc. to religious people.
❀ Neel Nidhi: A person adorned with indigo nidhi is endowed with sattvik radiance. His wealth lasts for three generations.
❀ Mukund Nidhi: The person who is on target of Mukund Nidhi, he is endowed with Rajoguna, he is engaged in the recovery of the state.
❀ Nanda Nidhi: A person with Nanda Nidhi is of Rajas and Tamas qualities, he is the basis of the family.
❀ Makar Nidhi: The rich person of Capricorn is a weapon collector.
❀ Kachhap Nidhi: The target of Kachhap Nidhi is a person of Tamas quality, he consumes his wealth himself.
❀ Shankh Nidhi: Shankh Nidhi is for one generation.
❀ Kharwa Nidhi: Mixed results are seen in the nature of a person having Kharwa Nidhi.

Hanuman Chalisa is the simplest and most powerful eulogy to please Prabhu Hanuman. Every problem of life can be solved by Hanuman Chalisa. By reciting Hanuman Chalisa, all the troubles of the devotees are removed. The solution of our problems is also hidden in many chaupais of Hanuman Chalisa.
