The first scripture of the Jain sampraday was written on the day of Shruta Panchami. Earlier it was a tradition to keep all the knowledge in one's throat and it was being transferred from one generation to another through words. According to Digambar Jain tradition, Shrut Panchami festival is celebrated every year on Jyeshtha Shukla Panchami date. On this day, the disciples of Jain Acharya Dharsen, Acharya Pushpadanta and Acharya Bhutbali completed the Shatkhandagam scripture. Since then, Shrut Panchami has been celebrated as a festival.
Shrut Panchami is also known as Prakrit language day. Jain society celebrates this great festival with great joy and gaiety across the country. On the holy day of Shrut Panchami, the scriptures kept in temples and houses are cleaned and renovated. There is a law to clean the store of all scriptures, texts and all religious text material and worship them.
A procession of scriptures is taken out from place to place, under which Jain religious people keep the ancient texts of Jainism on a silver palanquin, along with band-hawks, take out a procession by showering flowers on Maa Jinwani as well as other religious scriptures. For the publication of unpublished ancient texts, seminars are organized for outline and protection of scriptures.

❀ Organize competitions like Jinvani Decoration Competition, Essay Drafting etc., in which reward the contestants.
❀ By organizing a religious meeting, tell the importance of Shrut Panchami festival and protection of Shrut to the boys and girls and Shravak and Shravikaon. Spread its importance among youth and social media.
