Shriram Sharma Acharya was a social reformer, philosopher and founder of the All World Gayatri Parivar.

Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya performed his Yagyopavit Sanskar and initiated it into Gayatri Mantra. Chanted Gayatri Mantra 24 lakh times every year from the age of 15 to 24. Went to the Himalayas four times. Also participated in the freedom struggle. Went to jail three times. Established Shantikunj in Haridwar in 1971. The Gayatri family started from here. He is the author of nearly 3400 books on almost all aspects of Human life.

He played an active role in the freedom struggle movement from 1927 to 1933. For this he went to jail too, he received guidance from people like Devdas Gandhi, Madan Mohan Malviya, and Ahmed Kidwai. Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya died on 2 June 1990 in Haridwar, India.
