The special importance of Vibhuvan Sankashti Chaturthi has been mentioned in the scriptures. This festival is a day to worship Bhagwan Ganesh. This fast comes once in 3 years. This is the reason why worship of Ganapati has special significance in Adhikamas. It is believed that worshiping and fasting on this day removes all your troubles and Ganpati blesses you with happiness and prosperity. The vrat of Vibhuvan Sankashti Chaturthi will be observed on 4 August 2023.
It is believed that by observing this fast one gets the fruits of Sankashti Chaturthi fast, one gets wealth and prosperity.

Vibhuvan Sankashti Chaturthi is dedicated to Bhagwan Ganesh and Ganesha is worshiped on this day.

❀ The auspicious time for worship will be from 7.25 am to 9.5 am.
❀ And in the evening, the auspicious time for worship will be from 5:29 to 7:10 in the night.

Moon is also considered to be of special importance in the fast of Sankashti Chaturthi because this fast is celebrated only after offering Arghya to the moon. The time of moonrise on 4th August is 9.20 pm.

Some of the ways to celebrate Vibhuvan Sankashti Chaturthi are as follows:
On this day people keep fast and worship Bhagwan Ganesh. They also go to temples and offer prayers and donations. Some people also take a pledge to keep fast for the whole day.

Significance of Vibhuvan Sankashti Chaturthi
Lord Vishnu is worshiped during Adhik Maas and in Hinduism it is considered auspicious to worship Bhagwan Ganesh before any fast or worship. In such a situation, the importance of Sankashti Chaturthi which falls in Adhik Maas increases more. It is said that fasting on this day fulfills the wish of having a child and also opens up new avenues of wealth. If a person is facing a financial crisis, then he should fast on the day of Vibhuvan Sankashti Chaturthi to get the blessings of Ganapati. This brings happiness and prosperity in the house.
