Shri Badrinath Temple of Bhagwan Vishnu in Mayur Vihar Phase 2 has been built in 1987 to nurture the culture of Uttarakhand on the banks of Sanjay Lake in Delhi. The construction work of the temple has been completed by the Shri Badrinath Temple Religious Service Committee, which is responsible for the maintenance of the temple.

Like the nearby Shri Amarnath Temple, this temple is also adorned with the greenery of the garden, garden and children's park. Annual festival is organized in the temple every year on Ram Navami, under which devotees are served by Bhandara.
