In other words:
Ashwatthama, Bali, Vyas, Hanuman, Vibhishan, Kripacharya and Lord Parashuram are the seven great human beings. [1]

If these seven great men and the eighth sage Markandeya are remembered daily, all the diseases of the body are cured and one attains the age of 100 years. [2]
