Gopal Bhatt Goswami was one of the prominent saints of the Gaudiya Vaishnavism tradition and is counted among the revered Six Goswamis of Vrindavan. He played a crucial role in establishing devotional practices centered on Lord Krishna in Vrindavan.

He is closely connected with the famous deity of Radha Raman. According to tradition, the deity self-manifested (Swayambhu) from a Shaligram Shila he worshipped.
