Kadsiddheshwar Maharaj worked extensively with poor laborers and farmers. He gave extensive discourses on Hindu philosophy and the right way of living, which led him to the state of Gyan Drishti and Vijnanani. His main focus was to live his life fully understanding that the world is an illusion or maya. To realize this is considered jnana drishti, literally knowledge and vision, and to live according to this concept is to be in the vijnanani state.

He renovated the Kaneri Math and renamed it as Siddhagiri Math. He built a 42 feet high statue of meditating Shiva and an equally huge Nandi, built halls and hostels for devotees, started a school with hostels for poor, underprivileged students in the monastery complex and started an old age home there.

He gave many religious sermons on Hindu philosophy, and also instilled a sense of devotion in the minds of people by narrating stories from Ramayana, Mahabharata and Srimad Bhagwat. His main focus was to inspire people to live a happy life by following the path of devotion in their life. He also established monasteries in different parts of India.
