Meerabai Jayanti (मीराबाई जयंती)

India is so famous all over the world for its culture. There have been many such saints and Mahatmas on Bharatbhoomi who have settled religion and Bhagwan in Rome and have presented themselves as an ideal to others. Indian saints have made the path of salvation and peace easy. By composing hymns and praises, the common man has been brought closer to Bhagwan. In the same way, the place of Meerabai is considered to be the highest among saints and Mahatmas.Meera Bai considered Krishna as her own. Meerabai, the only daughter of Rathore Ratan Singh of Jodhpur, was born in the sixteenth century. Since childhood, she was immersed in devotion to Krishna.

It is said that seeing Meerabai's Krishna love and due to public shame, Meera Bai's in-laws did many tricks to kill him but all failed. after being frustrated by this behaviour of family members she went to Dwarka and Vrindavan. Where Meerabai used to go, she used to get people's respect. Meerabai was so lost in her devotion to Krishna that she started dancing and singing hymns.

It is said that Meerabai was absorbed in Bhagwan Shri Krishna. Meerabai has given a new dimension to devotion. A place where Bhagwan is a human being. All the greed of the world cannot distract from her fascination. Meerabai remained a recluse even after being a well-known king. Meeraji's devotion to Krishna has been a unique example.

"Mere to Giridhar Gopal Dusro Na Koi,
Jake Sar Mor Mukut Mero Pati Soi

Taat Maat Brat Bandhu Aapno Na Koi
Chandi Lai Kul Ki Kani Kaha Karilai Koi

Shankh Chakra Gada Padma Kandmala Soyi
Santan Dhing Baiti Bhaiti Lok Laaj Khoi

Chunari Ke Kini Took Audh Linhi Loi
Moti Moonge Uthar Banmala Poi

Asuvan Jal Seenchi Seenchi Prem Beli Boi
Ab Tho Bel Pheli Gayi Aanand Phal Hoi

Dood Ki Mathaniya Bade Prem Se Biloi
Maakhan Jab Khadiliyo Chaach Piye Koi

Bhakt Dekh Raaji Hui Jagat Dekhi Roi
Daasi Meera Laal Giridhar Taro Ab Mohi"
