Dada Dev Maharaj was a famous saint from the Solanki dynasty of Todaraisingh in Tonk, Rajasthan. He took Samadhi in 717 AD (VS 774) at the age of 120.

Shri Dada Dev Ji Maharaj worshiped as a village deity in Palam, Shahbad, Bagdola, Nasirpur, Bindapur, Dabri, Asalatpur, Utkala, Matiala, Baprola, Puthkala and Nangalrai, so the devotees built a temple named Shri Dada Dev Mandir. Which is considered to fulfill everyone's wishes. The history of this temple is very old. It is also believed that Dada Dev Maharaj was also blessed with divine powers of God. This temple is known by the name of Shri Dada Dev Maharaj.

According to belief, the incarnation of Dada Dev Maharaj took place in Toda Rai Singh, a small village in Tonk district of Rajasthan. In this village, he used to do penance sitting on a stone rock. It is believed that God was pleased with his penance and gave him divine power. After which he started doing welfare for the people. While meditating on the same rock, Dada Dev left his body and became Brahmalin.
