Hastinapur is the main center of the events of the Mahabharata period. It is also known as the capital of Kauravas. Hastinapur is also known as the birthplace of three Tirthankars of the Jain community.

The main attractions in Hastinapur are Jambudweep Jain Tirth, Digamber Jain Bada Mandir, Kailash Parvat, Pandav Temple, etc. All are the historical places for Hinduism. These temples are known to be from that era and are said that Pandavas used to worship Bhagwan Shiva at this place.
