Ganesh Tok is a Hindu temple located about 6 km from Gangtok in Sikkim, at an altitude of 6,500 feet. History and Architecture of Ganesh Tok Gangtok
This temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha was built in 1953. It is a small temple but sacred. The temple is remarkably small; devotees have to crawl on all fours to reach the inner sanctum, which can only be entered by one person at a time. Next to the temple is a glass-enclosed lounge and a circular balcony, which offers an unobstructed view of the surrounding hills and snow-capped peaks.
The temple has colourful pathways. The path leading to the temple is adorned with Tibetan prayer flags, creating a picturesque and spiritual ambiance.

The Ganesh Tok temple is open throughout the week and the darshan timings are from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm. Morning darshan time especially between March and June is the best time to visit here. The sky remains clear here and the views are amazing.
