Ganesh Tok is a Hindu temple located about 6 km from Gangtok in Sikkim, at an altitude of 6,500 feet. Situated on a hill adjacent to the TV tower, it offers panoramic views of the city of Gangtok and the majestic Kanchenjunga range. The walking path leading to the temple is also an ideal route for those who want to do trekking in Gangtok. History and Architecture of Ganesh Tok Gangtok
This temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha was built in 1953. It is a small temple but sacred. The temple is remarkably small; devotees have to crawl on all fours to reach the inner sanctum, which can only be entered by one person at a time. Next to the temple is a glass-enclosed lounge and a circular balcony, which offers an unobstructed view of the surrounding hills and snow-capped peaks.

The temple has colourful pathways. The path leading to the temple is adorned with Tibetan prayer flags, creating a picturesque and spiritual ambiance.
