Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, often referred to as Amma, is an Indian Hindu spiritual leader, guru and humanitarian, who is revered by her followers as the 'Embracing Saint'. In 2018, he was honored by the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the greatest contribution to the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan of the Government of India. She was the first recipient of the Vishwaratna award by the Hindu Parliament.

Mata Amritanandamayi is known worldwide as Amma or Mother for her selfless love and compassion towards all beings. He is a renowned spiritual and humanitarian leader whose life and message of love and compassion continues to inspire and transform millions across the world.

Amritanandamayi Mata is the founder and president of the Amritanandamayi Math and founder of Embracing the World. Embracing the World is a global network of local and regional charitable organizations and projects that grew out of the India-based charitable projects of Mata Amritanandamayi Math.
