Bhagwan Sambhavanatha is the third Tirthankara in Jainism after the second tirthankara
Ajitanatha Ji. He is revered as a symbol of purity, compassion, renunciation, and spiritual awakening.
It is believed that at the time of his birth, prosperity and auspicious events increased in the kingdom. Hence, he was named Sambhavanatha, meaning “One who brings auspiciousness and noble feelings.”
Despite living a royal life, he renounced worldly comforts and embraced asceticism. Through deep meditation and severe penance, he attained Kevala Jnana (absolute knowledge or omniscience).
His teachings emphasized:
❀ Ahimsa (non-violence) as the highest virtue
❀ Self-discipline and truthfulness
❀ Detachment from worldly attachments
❀ The path of right faith, right knowledge, and right conduct
