Shardha Ram Phillauri was an Indian writer, poet and social reformer who is remembered for his contributions to Hindi and Punjabi literature. He is best known for his Hindu religious hymn Om Jai Jagdish Hare and Bhagyawati, one of the first novels in Hindi.

Shraddha Ram Phillauri is the author of the famous aarti Om Jai Jagdish Hare. He established a Hindu school in Ludhiana, where both Sanskrit and Persian were taught. Besides this, he organized a Hindu Sabha to defend Sanatan Dharma. Panditji published many books and tracts including Dharma Raksha.
