Bhuvaneshwari Jayanti is celebrated on the Dwadashi (12th day) of the Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada month. Bhuvaneshwari Devi, one of the ten Mahavidyas, is placed in the fourth position. This is the form of Adi Shakti, an incarnation of the Devi, which is the basis of Shakti. It is also called Om Shakti. Bhuvaneshwari Devi is considered to be the mother of nature, who takes care of all nature. According to the English calendar, Bhuvaneshwari Jayanti will be celebrated on 7 September in 2022.

Bhuvaneshwari Devi has one face, 3 eyes and four hands. Out of which two hands Varada Mudra and Ankush Mudra protect and bless the devotees, while the other two hands Pash Mudra and Abhaya Mudra kill demons and demons. Bhuvaneshwari Devi holds a special place in Gayatri Mantra. She is a symbol of supreme power. Her body complexion is dark, her nails reflect the whole universe. She has worn the moon in the form of a crown. She is considered the best among all the devi, who created the whole earth and killed the demon powers. One who worships this Devi Shakti, gets power, intelligence and wealth.

Worship method of Bhuvaneshwari Jayanti
Bhuvaneshwari Devi is worshiped mainly on the days of Grahan (eclipse), Holi, Diwali, Mahashivratri, Krishna Paksha and Ashtami. A grand program is organized by the tantric seekers on the day of Bhuvaneshwari Jayanti. The program takes place in these phases –

⦿ Devotees should offer red flowers, rice, sandalwood and Rudraksh in front of the Devi for worship at home or in a small form.
⦿ There is also a main provision of Kanya Bhoj on this day.
⦿ A girl below ten years of age is considered to be a form of Bhuvaneshwari. After washing the feet of these girls, worship is done, then they are fed. After this, clothes and other gifts are given to them.

Significance of Bhuvaneshwari Jayanti
It is said that on the day of Bhuvaneshwari Jayanti, the devi herself comes to the earth. Bhuvaneshwari means queen of the entire universe. The universe was created by her Beej mantra. She is also known as Rajeshwari Paramba. Bhuvaneshwari Devi is of very gentle nature, who is sympathetic towards each and every one of her devotees. It gives wisdom and knowledge to her devotees, as well as helps them to attain salvation.
