It is a great day to resolve Kaal Sarp Dosh in the horoscope. People took darshan on this festival and worshiped the place of snakes known as Bambi. Since Nagdev loves fragrance, so people should worshiped Nagdev with aromatic floral and sandalwood.

On the holy festival of Nag Panchami, a big fair is organized at Nag Kuan in Varanasi/Kashi. Generally, this festival is celebrated two days after the Hariyali Teej. On the day of Nag Panchami, wrestling/dangal is held in many villages and towns in which the surrounding wrestlers also participate.
