Vivah Panchami is a popular Hindu festival celebrated as the weddings anniversary of Lord Shri Rama and Mata Sita. As per Hindu panchang, Vivah Panchami celebrated on the fifth day of the Shukla Paksha during the month of Margashirsha.
Similar as any Hindu wedding, the celebrations of this festival began several days before. Devotees performs all the rituals with full happiness, devotion and dedication. On the day of Vivah Panchami, devotees sing the auspicious song of marriage and Shri Ram Bhajan collectively in homes and temples.
On the same day of Vivah Panchami, Bihar Panchami the manifestation festival of Shri Banke Bihari Ji Maharaj, is also celebrated in Nidhivan of Vrindavan.
