Baba Madhinath Ji Temple in Bareilly also known as Madhinath Nath Temple. Shri Baba Madhinath Ji Temple is located in the Madhinath area of western Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. Baba Madhinath Ji Temple is one of the famous \"Saptnath\" - seven Nath temples of Bareilly, which has given the city a spiritual reputation as Nath Nagri (City of Nath Temples). Architecture and History of Madhinath Mandir
According to a legend, a sage was digging a well to help travellers, when suddenly a Shivling appeared from the earth with a \"manidhaari\" (gem bearing) serpent wrapped around it. The presence of the serpent protecting the Shivling led to the name of the temple being \"Madhinath\".
The temple is believed to be several centuries old—some sources date it to about 800 years, while other traditions date it to the ancient Pandava period (about 5,000 years). According to a unique belief, when the Shivling appeared, milk was flowing from it. This phenomenon stopped in the 1960s after a pregnant woman touched the Shivling.
Temple Opening Time of Madhinath Mandir
The Madhinath temple is open daily from around 4:00 am to around 10:00 pm. Entry is free, and it is especially crowded on Mondays/Wednesdays of Sawan and during Shivratri, when devotees perform Jalabhishek on the Shivling.

Special rituals are conducted at the Madhinath Temple during Sawan Somvar and Shivratri. During the month of Saavan, the temple witnesses huge crowds; visitors often share experiences of mystical encounters with the serpent, sudden appearance of light, or a \"mani\" dropped by the serpent during rituals.
How to Reach Madhinath Mandir
Madhinath Temple The temple is located in the Madhinath area in the western part of Bareilly city. It is accessible by road, and is well connected to the rest of the city. Bareilly Junction is the nearest major railway station which is about 2.3 km away. From there you can take a local auto-rickshaw or taxi to Madhinath Road.
