What is Rahu Kaal? (राहुकाल क्या होता है?)

Rahu is considered a sin planet. In our religious texts, Rahu is said to be a hindering planet in auspicious actions, so no auspicious work or journey should begin in Rahukaal. In the transit of planets, all the planets have a fixed time each day, so every time a day comes for Rahu also, which is called Rahu Kaal.
Timing of Rahukaal:
Rahu Kaal never comes in the first part of the day. It sometimes comes in the afternoon and sometimes in the evening and falls before sunset. Rahukal never comes at night.

How to find out rahukaal timing:
A rule has been made in astrology to find Rahu kaal. According to this, the whole day from sunrise to sunset is divided into eight equal parts. It has a standard time of sunrise at 6 am and sunset at 6 pm. Hence the time from 6 am to 6 pm was 12 hours. If you divide this 12 hours into 8 equal parts, then one part is about one and a half hours. Due to the different time of sunrise-sunset at different places, there can be a difference of a few minutes in this time.

How to divide Rahukaal as per astrology:
Second part of the day on Monday, 7.30 am to 9 pm
On Saturday in the third part of the day, from 9 am to 10.30 am
On the fourth part of the day on Friday, 10.30 am to 12 noon
On the fifth part of the day on Wednesday, 12 noon to 1.30 p.m.
On Thursday, the sixth part of the day, from 1.30 pm to 3 pm
On Tuesday, the seventh part of the day, from 3 pm to 4.30 pm
On Sunday, the eighth part of the day, from 4.30 pm to 6 pm

The duration of Rahu kaal also varies according to the time of sunrise and sunset at different places.
