Yogi Adityanath is an Indian Hindu monk and politician from the Bharatiya Janata Party who is the current Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Yogi ji is a very popular politician in his constituency.

He is the head priest of the Gorakhnath Math in Gorakhpur, Adityanath has served as head priest since September 2014 when his spiritual "father", Mahant Avaidyanath, passed away. In addition, he founded the Hindu Yuva Vahini, a Hindu nationalist organization. Due to his controversial views, he is often referred to as a Hindu nationalist. As a right-wing Hindutva firebrand, he has acquired the image of being a right-wing populist.

As a Hindu monk, he is a great philanthropist including politics and is always in limelight for Gau Sewa, Gorakhnath Temple Sewa, Navratri Kanya Pujan, Diwali Celebrations in Ayodhya etc.
