Why Hanuman ji worshiped on Tuesdays and Saturdays?
Hanuman ji is considered an incarnation of Bhagwan Shiva. The son of Kesari and Anjana, Hanuman ji was born on a Tuesday, a full moon day during the Hindu month of Chaitra. Therefore, devotees worship Shri Hanuman on Tuesdays. Also, Tuesday which means the day of auspiciousness.
The story behind the worship of Hanuman ji on Saturday:
People usually worship Shani Dev on Saturday, but still Hanuman ji is worshiped on this day. It is believed that by worshiping Hanuman ji on Saturday, Shani Dev is very pleased and by this all the troubles related to Shani Dev go away. A story is told behind the worship of Hanuman ji on Saturday, in which Shani Dev promised Hanuman ji that whoever worships Hanuman ji, he will never disturb him.

More revered as a loyal devotee of Sri Ram, Hanuman is known for his power and wisdom. He is also known as Pawan Putra because the god of winds took the blessings of Bhagwan Shiva and conveyed his birth message to Mata Anjana.

Also known as Bajrangbali, Hanuman's unwavering faith in his Bhagwan (Ram) continues to inspire millions even today. He is the epitome of selfless service and devotion.

How to worship Hanuman ji on Tuesday and Saturday:
One should wake up before sunrise on Tuesday and worship Hanuman ji. After taking a bath, go to the worship room and offer red flowers, vermilion, clothes, janeu etc. to Bajrangbali. You must recite Hanuman Chalisa after worship etc.

After bathing on Saturday, go to the temple and offer it to Hanuman ji by mixing water and vermilion in a copper vessel. After this, offer them jaggery, gram and banana. Light a mustard oil lamp in front of them and chant Hanuman ji's mantra 'Shri Hanumante Namah'. Read Hanuman Chalisa. By doing this, the blessings of both Hanuman ji and Shani Dev are obtained.

Interestingly, Hanuman is also called Chiranjeevi, which means he is immortal. It still exists today in some form or the other. Hanuman ji can be worshiped on any day of the week, but Tuesdays and Saturdays are considered more auspicious. Hence, people visit temples dedicated to Hanuman ji on Tuesdays and Saturdays. By worshiping them one can attain success, peace, happiness, strength and courage.
