About 200 years ago, Shri Lokeshwarnath Mandir of Bhagwan Shiva was established in Ganga-Malanpur village. This Manokamna Siddha temple is also famous among the public by the name of Dantre Mandir.
Dantre Temple is very close to Lakshmanpura village in spite of being in Ganga-Malanpur village, the lush green sacred environment around the temple, adds to the beauty of the temple even more. There is also an ancient well in front of the temple as a source of water.
Maha Shivratri, Sawan Shivratri, Pradosh Vrat, Trayodashi Vrat, Somvar of Sawan and the month of Sawan are the most sacred and celebrated festivals. On every Shivratri festival, after Bhagwat recitation, arrangements are made for Bhandara in the temple on the next day.
From time to time, a Yagya is organized in the temple with Veda mantras, due to which a Yagyashala has also been constructed in the temple premises.
