Devnarayan ji is considered to be an incarnation of Bhagwan Vishnu, his grand temple is at Asind in Bhilwara. People consider the wonderful stories done by him as miracles and the stories of his miracles are told and heard. Devnarayan ji is mainly worshiped in Rajasthan, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh.

A major temple of Devnarayan ji is in Jodhpuria village of Niwai tehsil, 9 km away from Banasthali. It is the most legendary pilgrimage site of the Gujjar community in the whole of India. Bhopa’s worship Devnarayan ji, this Bhopa goes from place to place and narrates the story of Devnarayan by singing the story of Devnarayan ji on a wrapped cloth. Devnarayan Ji's Phad is the most popular and biggest among the Phads of Rajasthan.
