Khyati – Wife of the fourth Sikh Guru Ramdas Ji.
Mata Bhani was the younger daughter of Guru Amar Das, the third Sikh Guru, and the wife of Guru Ram Das, the fourth. She was entrusted with the task of educating women on the principles and norms of Sikhism. Bibi Bhani served her father with utmost devotion. According to one story, she saw her father, Guru Amar Das, meditating on a wooden seat.

He saw that one of the legs of the seat was about to break, so he used his hands to keep the seat upright to prevent the Guru from falling. After the Guru finished meditating, he found Bibi Bhani's hand bleeding. Seeing this, the Guru told her that her child would be the successor to the position of Guru.

Akbar had gifted Bhani the estate during his meeting with Guru Amardas, as the Guru had not accepted any official royal patronage in his own name. Akbar had given this land to Bhani as a wedding gift.
