❀ Meaning of Neeb Karoli means strong foundation.

Neem Karoli Baba, a Hindu guru and devotee of the Hindu deity Hanuman, was known as Maharaj-ji among his followers. His name is more popular among his foreign devotees. He is known as a mentor to many Americans who came to India in the 60's and 70's. His ashrams are at Kainchi, Vrindavan, Rishikesh, Shimla, Neem Karoli village near Khimasepur in Farrukhabad, Bhumiadhar in India, Hanumangarhi, Delhi and Taos, New Mexico, USA.

Baba got about 108 Hanuman temples constructed in his life. It is believed that Baba Nib Karori achieved many miraculous achievements by worshiping Hanuman ji. His followers established the Sewa Foundation, committed to applying Neem Karoli Baba's teachings for the prevention and treatment of blindness.

Neem Karoli Baba was a lifelong follower of Bhakti Yoga, and he encouraged service to others as the highest form of unconditional devotion to God.
