Bhagwan Padmaprabha is the 6th Tirthankar of Jainism after the fifth Tirthankara, bhagwan Sumatinatha. He is revered as a symbol of purity, spiritual radiance, compassion, and renunciation.

At the time of his birth, a divine crimson glow spread everywhere, resembling the radiance of blooming lotuses. Hence he was named: Padma = Lotus and Prabha = Radiance. Means One who shines like a lotus.

Padmaprabha Swami was born into royalty and later became a just and compassionate ruler. His reign is remembered for righteousness, peace, and moral governance. Realizing the impermanence of worldly pleasures, he renounced his kingdom and embraced ascetic life in pursuit of liberation.

He undertook deep meditation and severe penance. After intense spiritual practices, Bhagwan Padmaprabha attained Kevala Jnana, the state of infinite knowledge.
