Founder - Pranami TraditionThe credit for spreading the Pranami sampradaya goes to Mahamati Shri Prannathji, the most beloved disciple and successor of Swami Devchandra ji. Mahamati Prannath has tried to reform the Hindu society in his travels and discourses. At the time women were neglected, she gave Tartam Mantra to women and did many things to bring awareness in the society.

The Pranami tradition has recognized all castes and religions as the supreme truth Shri Krishna worship tradition. He explained Pranami ideas by citing Hindu and Islamic texts to link his teachings to the background of the converts. Swami Prannathji was the religious teacher of Maharaja Chhatrasal; He has guided them in political, social and economic matters.

In the year 1751 of the Hindu calendar, on the fourth day of the Krishna Paksha of Shravan, the fifth month, Mahamati Prannath fulfilled his purpose in this world, and was set to reside in the supreme abode "Paramdham".
