Pausha Maas 2025 (पौष मास 2025)

Pausha month, this Hindu month, comes after Margashirsha month, which is the 10th month according to the Hindu calendar. The month of Pausha begins with the full moon or new moon in the month of December. Shishir Ritu is called the winter month of Pausha, which is considered auspicious for various Shraddha rituals and Pinddaan. Pausha month includes various festivals like Paash Amavasya, Banda Ashtami, Pausha Purnima etc. Pausha Purnima begins with the penance of Magha month and ends with Shakambhari Navratri.
