Swami Shri Nischalanand Saraswati is the current 145th Jagadguru Shankaracharya of Purvamanaya Shri Govardhan Peetham in Puri, Odisha, India.

How Nilambarji became Swami Nischalananda Saraswati:
A very brilliant student, Nilambarji started his education in science, mathematics and other Sanskrit texts. At the young age of 16, he was inclined towards spirituality and left home for Delhi to seek the blessings of Shankaracharya of the Jyotish Math. He was given the name 'Dhruvachaitanya' by the great saint. In 1970 he started pilgrimage to various holy places in every nook and corner of India and gained insight into pure knowledge and broadened his horizons. He was soon canonized in 1974 and his name was changed to Nishchalananda Saraswati.

Swami Nischalananda Saraswati is a renowned mathematician and scholar who has published over 200 books on the subject and has dedicated all his books to Late Bharati Krishna Tirthaji Maharaj. His personality and knowledge of the scriptures led to His Holiness being crowned head of the Govardhan Math in 1992 and is the 145th Shankaracharya in the line. After that he preaches about the Vedas, the unity of the nation, etc. in every corner of India.
