Moong Dal: 1/4 bowl (peeled)
Ghee: 2 tablespoons
Turmeric: 1/4 teaspoon

Recipe:
First of all, wash the rice and lentils thoroughly and keep them soaking for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, the water is separated from the soaked lentils and rice. Now put these dal rice in a cooker and add 6-7 bowls of water to it. After this, add turmeric, salt and 1 teaspoon of ghee and close the lid of the cooker. Now, put the cooker on medium flame and let the khichdi cook. When the cooker comes to 5-6 whistles, turn off the gas.

After 8-10 minutes, take out the whistle of the cooker and open its lid. And mix the khichdi with a spoon. Now put ghee in a small pen and heat it on medium heat. When the ghee gets heated well, add asafetida and cumin seeds. When the cumin starts crackling, turn off the gas and add this tempering to the khichdi and mix it well. In this way moong dal khichdi is prepared.
